Caleb Daniel in 2020 was one of the must-have defenders in the competition for AFL Fantasy and SuperCoach players. However, after a solid round 1 SuperCoach score of 107, he’s next three results failed to reach the heights that we have become accustomed to.
A disappointing 66 point score in round two, before a decent return of 96 the following week, finally lead to a horrific 19 point round 4. Furthermore, to make matters worse, Daniel has been offered a one-match-ban, which the Western Bulldogs could contest but even if they do, it’s likely that Daniel will miss round 5.
Daniel’s 2021 average of 71 points across the first four rounds of the year has resulted in a whopping $77,800 price reduction, which has caused confidence in him to plummet amongst the SuperCoach community. Although, are we panicking a little too soon about Daniel’s performances?
