Fantasy Football isn’t something we have discussed previously on Nerds4Life but considering SuperCoach, as well as any fantasy sporting competition, is basically a game and this being a gaming website, means that this topic vaguely fits on our website.
As a result, this is really quite similar to us talking about AFL Evolution 2, which we have done numerous times on Nerds4Life. Now, moving onto the topic you all actually wanted to read about, which is the idea of trading in Joel Selwood for Patrick Cripps and if it’s a good idea.
The Carlton captain has started the season rather ordinarily, with scores of 88 and 82. At a value of $523,700, his projected value is set to diminish by approximately $20,700. Well, that is unless he scores 137 points this week against Freemantle. When taking into account his recent form, there’s a slim chance of that taking place. However, Cripps did score 119 against Fremantle in round 12 last year but that was quite a while ago now and still not enough of a score to break even.
Meanwhile, as for the Cats captain in Selwood, he’s surprising scores of 101 and 132, are well above average for a player priced at a lower amount of $445,000. Selwood is expected to move up in value by approximately $32,800 and will increase in value unless he scores 28 points or lower in round 3 against Hawthorn.
