The last chapter of One Piece showcased the events taking place away from the main battle between Yonko’s Big Mom and Kaido, as well as several Worst Generation pirates in Luffy, Kid, Law, Killer and Zoro. It was here that we read as a new ally for the Straw-hats has arrived but his figure was shadowed and left to speculation as to who is might be.
The figure appears to have abnormally long ears, which hints two possible characters that could be the one helping Oden’s retainers. Well, there are technically three main theories, the first is quite boring and that’s the figure is an un-known female without long ears and it’s her long hair that appear to be ears.
Meanwhile, the other two theories are a lot more fun and I think all One Piece fans are hopeful of. The first theory is that the un-known figure is Enel, the former thunder god from Skypiea. His profile does match the shadowed figure but why he would be in Wano is the main issue.
In reality, there’s no reason for Enel to be in Wano at all. However, that can obviously change with a genius explanation from Oda. Though, for now, there’s no reason for Enel to be in Wano, which sadly, means that this theory is very unlikely.
In fact, the likeliest person for this figure to be is Fukurokuju, one of the late Orochi’s loyalists. He is a powerful character and is the rival of Raizo. It’s possible that he wants to avenge the betrayal of his fallen master and would even side with his enemy to take down Kaido.
As you might recall, it was Kaido who killed Orochi earlier in the Wano arc. Clearly the enemy of your enemy are your friends in this scenario and it’s the most likely option, as his facial features are similar to that of Enel’s and unlike Enel’s, the motives are there for Fukurokuju. Furthermore, One Piece manga chapter 1005, will showcase Kaido’s Hybrid transformation!
