One Piece Manga Chapter 1003: The Situation In Onigashima

According to these spoilers, the chapter will be titled “Night on the board,” with the chapter showcasing the general situation of Onigashima. This is the location where most of the fighting is taking place among the weaker fighters/crewmates and Samurai.

The previous chapter was mainly a showcase of strength against Kaido and Big Mom. The two Emperor’s of the Sea are well aware that these young upstarts who are part of the Worst Generation, are not a group to be underestimated.

This was evident through Kaido admitting that his durability will not withstand the attacks of these pirate captains and again through Big Mom’s clear concern for Kaido, as Zoro attacked with Oden’s old sward. The blade is radiating the deceased legend and it has struck fear deep within Kaido.

Remember, Oden is the only one who we know of, that was able to pierce Kaido’s skin and inflict damage upon him. Now, his legendary blade is in the possession of Zoro, the only other individual outside of Oden, who is able to wiled that blade as well.

It seems that we are seeing more and more hints that Zoro could be the man to take down Kaido. Meanwhile, Luffy is holding up well against both Big Mom and Kaido, with the others assisting. Already, the Yonko’s attacks are rendered useless by Luffy thus far. This is turning out to be a very interesting battle and it will continue in this weeks manga chapter.
