The first two DLC’s for Bandai Namco’s latest Dragon Ball game, Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, have already been released and already, despite the second DLC barley being available, we are already hearing rumours of the next inclusion.
The first two DLC’s for Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot showcased the events from the Dragon Ball Z: Battle of the Gods and Dragon Ball Z: resurrection of F movies. Therefore, many fans believe the next installment will continue to follow the Dragon Ball Super story. However, that might not necessarily be the case.
As I said, Bandai have released DLC’s based on the movies and not the Dragon Ball Super anime. Therefore, Bandai could continue to released DLC cornet for movies instead of the Dragon Ball Super anime. This could mean the inclusion of the Dragon Ball Super: Broly movie events and characters.
However, if Bandai decide to go through the Dragon Ball Super series, then we could expect to see some of the Universe 6 characters like Hit or Goku’s Super Saiyan Blue Kaioken transformation. Then we could see the events of Goku Black and Zamasu, which could include Future Trunks and his new transformation as well.
Those are the scenario’s that are most likely to appear in the next Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot DLC 3. As for what’s coming after that? We could also see the inclusion of the Tournament of Power events and characters, as well as possibly the Moro arc too from the Dragon Ball Super manga.
However, those both, if they were to be included, will be added as DLC’s much later on, as it will take time to introduce the content that I have mentioned above first. Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is available on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4, with no word on if there will be a remastered version coming to the new Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S or PlayStation 5 consoles just yet.
