A closed beta for the upcoming Dragon Ball: The Breakers was released last week. This is where a select few were able to play the game and give us their early reviews on what they experienced. Mostly, the reviews were positive though, players did say that there were bugs that need to be mended but I suppose, that’s the point of having an early release.
As I said, most of the reviews were positive. However, there was one negative opinion that was pretty consistent across the players who were given the opportunity to try the new game out. What I’m talking about is the primary weapon that survivors are given as a way of escaping their pursuer. Players are given a gun, which they can use against Cell but according to the players, this is basically useless and does basically no damage.
It’s probably as effective as Mr Satan throwing rocks at Omega Shenron in Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3. And let’s be honest, most of us have tried that match up before. Guns being useless in Dragon Ball is pretty consistent with the anime though, which we got to see in literally the opening scenes of Dragon Ball when Bulma shot Goku in the head.
However, it makes us wonder why even bother including it if it’s going to do nothing? Maybe when the game releases, players can upgrade its effectiveness or maybe they can switch to better weapons. Who knows but one thing we do know for now, is the primary weapon you do have is not going to help you
