Granola, the latest Dragon Ball Super villain, has successfully summoned the dragon from the Dragon Balls in his world and made his wish. However, I honestly doubt that his wish will actually be granted and I will tell you why.
In Dragon Ball Super manga chapter 70, we will likely see the dragon tell him his wish is a bit ambitious at best. As is already well known in the Dragon Ball world, a dragon’s wishes are limited to the power of the Dragon Ball’s creator.
Yes, that means Earths are linked to Dende and the others are too linked, as well as limited to their creators power. This means tat in order for Granola’s wish of becoming the strongest fighter in the universe to be granted, the old Namekian in his world, Monaito , would have to be stronger than every other living being in the universe as well.
Therefore, Granola’s chances of this wish being granted are slim at best and I’m being nice by slim. Anyway, back to Dragon Ball Super and I believe after Granola’s wish is rejected, he will ask for something else. It’s possible that Granola could ask for all those responsible for his home world’s destruction to be killed, which could make for an interesting arc indeed.
It could suddenly make Goten, Trunks, Buu, Piccolo, Krillin, Tien, Yamcha, the Androids and Gohan relevant to the story again. However, the other (boring) possibility is that Granola asks for immortality, which has been done countless times and is pointless against Frieza or the Saiyans.
