Now, before you all get upset, its has never been confirmed whether or not Dragon Ball Legends’ story-line is canon or not. The game did work closely with Dragon Ball creator Akira Toriyama, with him helping in the scripting and animations. As a result, Dragon Ball Legends is pretty close to being canon. Well, tat is until Toriyama himself says otherwise.

Until then though, Dragon Ball Legends is considered part of the canon Dragon Ball Super world and the main character in Shallot has been given a new transformation. Originally, the Super Saiyan God transformation had only been achieved by Goku, Vegeta and Yamoshi but it has now also come to Dragon Ball Legends’ Shallot.

Yamoshi was the original Super Saiyan and the first Super Saiyan God in the Dragon Ball world while Goku achieved the form next in the Dragon Ball Z: Battle of the Gods movie and as a for Vegeta, he had to wait until the Dragon Ball Super: Broly movie for his Super Saiyan God animation debut. However, in the Dragon Ball Super manga, we see Vegeta unlock that form much earlier on.

Dragon Ball Legends may not be the most popular Dragon Ball Z game ever made but the mobile game has attracted solid numbers since its arrival almost two years ago and is continuing to do so now.
