The debate about who is stronger? Between rivals Sasuke and Naruto has been going since the beginning of time. Well, maybe not since then but at least since the beginning of the Naruto series. However, as time progresses this rivalry is becoming less relevant than the rivalry between Krillin and Goku in Dragon Ball.
In the previous manga chapter of Boruto Naruto Next Generations, Naruto unleased his new transformation called Baryon Mode, which enabled him to significantly weaken Isshiki to a near-deaths state. However, the technique has some dire consequences, where the life-force of Naruto and Kurama is drained until one passes away.
Despite the loss of life, for the moment, Naruto’s new power has enabled him to well surpass Sasuke now. The Uchiha admitted that even he was struggling in the previous manga chapter to follow Naruto’s movement with his Sharingan. We also know from Naruto Shippuden, just because an Uchiha can track the movements of a ninja with his Sharingan, doesn’t mean his body can react to them in time
It’s one of the curses to the Uchiha power, a Sharingan user can literally see the end coming but be powerless to stop it. This will be the case if Sasuke fights against Naruto now with the Seventh Hokage’s new power being too much for Sasuke to even see, let along respond to.
However, Sasuke only mentioned his Sharingan in the manga, which means that he might still be able to track the movements with his Rinnegan. This is still yet to be confirmed so, it now looks as if the debate between who is stronger, Naruto or Sasuke, can remain alive for just a little longer.
The next manga chapter of Boruto, Boruto Naruto Next Generations manga chapter 53, is set to be released on the 20th of December, with spoilers and early manga leaks revealed a few days prior to that.
