With all the lock-downs around the world, it comes as no surprise that many people have turned to gaming to amuse themselves. As a result, easy to access and online interactive games such as Among Us have exploded in popularity. Casual gamers and streamers have taken on Among Us, with the enjoyment evident through countless memes and highlight clips spreading on every social platform.
However, along with the good comes the bad. Some players have taken what is meant to be a fun space murder mystery experience and ruin it for others. In my recent Twitch stream (CruzTseros21) I was teamed up with one of these players as an Imposter.
The game is meant ot be a mystery but too many players are cheating on Discord chats and Imposters snitching on other Imposters because they were caught. The latter happened to me and it was frustrating. Whoever this player was, he/she attempted a kill in front of 4 people and then had the audacity to reveal I was the other Imposter because he/she was caught.
If these things only happened once in a while in it wouldn’t be so bad. However, online lobbies are flooded with players that leave the game immediately because they aren’t the Imposter that round, cheat on Discord, hack the game and act like sore losers.
