We have had numerous Naruto games over the years, all of which have been quite successful in giving Naruto fans a glimpse of the life of a ninja. The most recent of which is the 2018 game Naruto To Boruto Shinobi Striker, a game made by Bandai Namco, which gives you the greatest glimpse of all through its incredible customization. It’s predecessor in Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4, also had some Boruto expansions incorporated too.
It’s also the first game to really adapt a huge amount of Boruto Naruto Next Generations content, however, it still felt as if it was mostly a Naruto Shippuden game. This was a game that provided a bridge between the two series’. A transition game, more than a sole Boruto game, which I am referring to here.
What the Boruto series now needs is a standalone game based on just the Boruto series. A game that Only showcases Boruto characters and mission. This means the same characters from Naruto but as adults. Missions with Jounin Konohamaru for example. Moegi’s wood release or Mirai missions could also be exciting too.
Then we have all the Otsutsuki Clan’s new members like Jigen and Momoshiki, as well as all the Kara ninja’s like Amado, Kawaki and Kashin Koji. We could also see battles against the new Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist and of course, Uchiha Shin and his clones.
The Boruto series has a lot of characters it can draw from and give us a new experience, which we have never seen before. These are aspects of Boruto that we have only seen glimpses of in the Naruto games of the past. Surely there’s enough content now in the series to draw an entirely new game from and with it being two years since Naruto To Boruto Shinobi Striker was released, a new game should be on the cards soon.
