The last few manga chapters of Dragon Ball Super have given us a lot and it appears as if the next few chapters are only going to be more exciting. However, if you think that fusion will be coming, then you couldn’t be more wrong, as the last manga chapter of Dragon Ball Super confirmed Vegito and Gogeta would be useless against Moro.
Fusion has played a big part in the Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball GT, Dragon Ball Heroes and Dragon Ball Super stories since it was first introduced during the Majin Buu saga. It has always been Vegeta and Goku’s last resort but as Piccolo stated in the previous manga chapter, it won’t work for them this time.
Moro’s power has grown to levels unseen before but the most concerning growth he has had was taking Vegeta’s techniques. This has enabled him to steal the technique that enables Vegeta to un-fuse all forms of fusion, which is why Vegito and Gogeta won’t work against Moro now, as he could simply un-fuse them.
Technically, Moro would have to strike them for this to happen but considering how strong Moro is, it’s likely that he could at the very least manage to touch them. I believe this is a way to stop the constant usage of fusion, which has dominated every arc since its inception.
This also means that whatever and whoever does defeat Moro will have to do it without the use of fusion.
